Berries

The term "berry fruits" refers to fruits that share similar characteristics. From a botanical perspective, however, not all of these fruits belong to the berry fruit category. Currants and gooseberries, with their round berries, as well as blueberries, elderberries, sea buckthorn, and cranberries, are classified as berry fruits. In contrast, raspberries and blackberries are classified as aggregate fruits (many small drupes come together to form a single berry). Strawberries, which are traditionally considered berry fruits, are botanically classified as aggregate nuts.
